Jackery Solar Generator 5000 Plus

Jackery Solar Generator 5000 Plus – Whole-Home Solar Backup Power

Take control of your home’s backup energy with the Jackery Solar Generator 5000 Plus, a powerful solar energy storage system built to keep essential household appliances operating when the electrical grid goes down. Combining a 5,040Wh high-capacity battery with 7,200W of continuous output, this complete solar generator delivers the kind of performance needed for serious home backup, emergency preparedness, and off-grid energy applications.

With both 120V and 240V power, the Solar Generator 5000 Plus goes far beyond charging small electronics. Its high-output design can support compatible refrigerators, air conditioners, power tools, pumps, and other demanding household equipment. The system provides up to 14,400W of surge power, helping accommodate appliances and devices that require additional power when starting.

Harness Solar Energy for Backup Power

The biggest advantage is the ability to recharge using the sun. The system supports up to 4,000W of high-voltage solar input, providing a powerful way to replenish stored energy without depending entirely on the electrical grid. Under Jackery's specified high-voltage solar setup, the unit can recharge in approximately 1.7 hours. AC and solar charging can also be used simultaneously, giving you additional flexibility when restoring battery capacity.

For homeowners looking for more than temporary backup, the system is designed to grow with your energy needs. The 5,040Wh base capacity can be expanded using compatible Jackery Battery Pack 5000 Plus units, allowing substantially more stored energy for prolonged outages and off-grid use. Jackery's system supports multiple battery packs and can be configured for significantly greater overall storage capacity.

Built for Serious Home Backup

The Solar Generator 5000 Plus uses a LiFePO4 battery rated for approximately 4,000 charge cycles while retaining at least 70% capacity, providing long-term energy storage for recurring backup needs. Its UPS capabilities can also automatically transition connected equipment to battery power during an outage, with Jackery specifying 0ms switching in Online UPS mode and less than 20ms in Backup UPS mode.

Despite its substantial power output, the system operates at 30dB or less, making it a quieter alternative to conventional fuel-powered generators. There are also no direct fuel emissions during operation, making it especially appealing for indoor and residential backup applications where traditional gas generators may not be practical.
